Greek Theatre Tour

Women and War

 

OVERVIEW

Three  plays by leading playwrights.  commissioned and directed  by  the theatre director Peggy Shannon,  and inspired by the ancient Greek plays, will be rehearsed in Canada and then embark on a tour of Greece in 2012 and Canada  and the USA in 2013.  While on tour in Greece the performers and production team will attend Master Classes on ancient Greek Theatre, attend Hellenic Festival  theatre performances and visit Delphi, Corinth, Mycenae and other archeological sites and museums for a more in-depth understanding of ancient Greek theatre .
