as well as with leisure and cultural activities.
Workshops/Seminars offered
include:
the origins and development
of ancient Greek drama,
voice, movement, dance, acting, masks, chorus, directing,
stage design, language & culture
Courses often build toward a
small production to be performed in our theatre. Further tours
of the performance in Athens and Delphi and Spetses can be
arranged.
We hold open air
screenings of adaptations of ancient Greek dramas from our
comprehensive film library as well as arrange tours to
Epidaurus, Athens and Delphi to attend the theatre festivals.
Hydrama is a place where
students, classical scholars, actors and other theatre
professionals can study and experience Greek drama and culture in a
beautiful setting which replicates
theatre’s origins.
